My favorite PC class is mage, surprising precisely no one :P Though I am very partial to DA:O Rogue Tank Best Tank build still mostly because I arrived there by accident.

my fave companion quest is probably Aveline's The Long Road though I know it's not exactly popular because she's so cringy during it, but UGH I just LOVE it i'm sorry xP otherwise it's a tie between Varric's Family Matters and Cassandra's Guilty Pleasures

Because ngl it's the funniest fucking thing ever and I wheezed with laughter when I found it the first time

Characterwise, I can't choose because I love all Love Interest just SO MUCH???
but going by general tension and narrative arc within the romance subplot, easily Blackwall, with Morrigan, Fenris, and Solas more or less even for second place.
(I do love me a good Cullen romance, but imo for having full dramatic tension he needs a dedicated worldstate going through the entire trilogy since his arc begins in DA:O and that may be too much commitment for most.)
Blackwall's romance just has... everything you'd want from a period romance novel. Emotional Anguish. Tragic Backstories. Dramatic speeches. Confessions. Lies. Intrigue. Sad hairy man being sad in a rainstorm. Seeing your inquisitor's tiddy during a soft moonlit night time scene that's really really angsty and made me physically gasp with the drama of it all. Cinematic positioning to convey power differentials. Making! Use! Of! Your! Set! Design! For! Visual! Storytelling!!!
Literally the only thing it is missing is a duel and I'd be set for life and never need another romance plot again.

close seconds would beeeeee Broken Circle (CULLEN), Righteous Path (the idfic potential is enormous) and Shadows of the Blackmarsh (unironically the spookiest of the DA:O quests, with the tightest writing)

 

also i forgot location up top, my favorite location is a tie between the Emerald Graves, the Western Approach and probably the Blackmarsh Undying because it's unnerving and spooktastic.
Also just Kirkwall in general? I love all of kirkwall

honestly it's a tie between Skinner, Morrigan and Sera. Zevran is too much of a sucker for shiny things to be a proper gremlin, he at least bathes regularly and doesn't wear the same bikini for ten years MORRIGAN. Sera invented being a gremlin and Skinner shivs shemlen for shits and giggles what's not to love.

i am *so tired* i went to a friend's wedding on saturday and danced the night away as it were, so much so I was sincerely nauseated from exhaustion at some moments of the evening because uh... you know. Chronically Ill. Mobility impaired to a certain degree.... in pain a lot.... I make bad, platform highheels shaped decisions........ but I had a TON of fun!
And today I went walking around the botanical gardens for the like... whatcha call it. You know not seedlings, but shrubs??? sorta? they basically hold a market during spring where you can get small bushes and herbaceous plants and young trees and shrub sized plants and stuff.
So we bought uh.... you know.... another five roses. I can't even keep count of all our roses anymore but I would not want it any different.
One of them is an ancient roman cultivar, Alba Maxima, it's white and has fragrant and flavorful flowers and gets over 8 feet tall if you leave it be (we'll probably keep it a bit smaller for uh, you know. practicality.)
other parts of the haul include lemon verbena (goes in a portable pot and will spend winter with the fig, olive and citruses), a tarragon and a really cool ancient herb originally from the general region of Albania, croatia, Bosnia and Herzogovina. It's called southern wormwood or lad's love and is used to heighten appetite and make fatty foods easier to digest, as well as repelling moths and potentially also having uses against pain and rheumatoid fevers, especially nervous intestinal nonsense in relation to inflammation stuff. And hairloss. And a grabbag of other things. But the food related stuff has been affirmed in clinical trials, and it shows up both in the works of Hildegard von Bingen and Hippokrates, as well as Plinius the Elder, Hippokrates, Columella, Scribonius Largus and Dioskurides.

the gallica officinalis is the least far along bc it's not getting as much sun as the others, but it's doing better than it looks on the photo, it's usually a bit late to getting going. The Boule de Neige accidentally got beheaded by the lawnmower last year which is why it's so uh. short and stupid looking. But it's gonna come back hopefully and if Dad harms it again I'm gonna scream. It's one of the few a bit fussier ones we have too but hopefully it will get its shit together once it's grown a bit bigger lmao. If not I'm gonna passive aggressively start putting string between the apple and pear trees to stop vandalism of my children
