Chibi Deadpool knitting with tasty red yarn. Possibly sitting on a garnet. Combine all of the things!
super grumpy lately and v annoyed at fatigue. i can barely keep my eyes open even though i got a full night's sleep. this is dumb. there's so much i want to be doing, but i can hardly make myself go downstairs. i hate this. :(
got a physio appointment today. fortunately i'm a bit less fatigued and achey than the past few days. seebs was feeling it too, and nick was just sleeping with cats all day every day, so it was a virus rather than a new and horrible stage of my disability. relief! anyhow, today is a perfect day, and i'm not going to let anything spoil it. though i am probably going to my appt with a neckbeard and 80's hair, because there are limits to my energy. btw NEW ICON i wish i knew the artist but it's been stolen by so many t-shirt sites you'd need stronger google-fu than mine to source it.
I found the original! I AM ONE WITH THE GOOGLE https://www.deviantart.com/philliecheesie/art/Riding-a-Unicorn-612444730
i was really looking forward to swimming as soon as i got over the whatsit, but looking out at the snowstorm, i kind of... don't want to deal with it. i know it's warm in the dome. but i'm still not sure i can make myself go.
@jacktrash I was looking up more Slow TV and I wasn't sure if you were interest in like 12ish hours of fjords but they've got a special for that too
had another dentistry yesterday, switched to the place just a couple blocks away since the other place doesn't keep the gas on site. i should've done this ages ago. these people are awesome. particularly the hygienist named theresa, who is now my bro. we bonded. since i was the only customer in there and there was a snowstorm and everything was problems, she put on a hard rock station and we had acdc and aerosmith while she probed my gums. she told me that since on my intro paperwork i said that sensory processing disorder makes dentistry hell, they'd been reading up on it... and she gave me sunglasses so the lights wouldn't bother me. BRILLIANT. it helped SO MUCH. she and the dentist both listened to me and adapted, they were so great. they warned me before they did things, and when i needed a minute to settle my stomach they let me have it and didn't hover. so far all three of the places i've been (place with no gas, the surgeon who pulled my tooth, and this place) have been good about my SPD, but this one's been the best. the sunglasses, man. so smart. i've got a consultation scheduled with an orthodontist to talk about whether we can shift my jammed-up front teeth to close the gap rather than getting an implant. i never considered orthodontics an option because having things in my mouth is too sensory, but apparently they've been pioneering some much smoother options lately and i should check them out. the world is slowly getting more autism-friendly, and to my delight and astonishment, dentists are on the crest of the wave.
not a hundred percent sure (still working on the second part), but the first one had a lot of info about knitting spots and history and suchlike, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it did!
i mean '12 hours of fjords' could mean silent pans of scenery, or it could mean a guided tour, or a science documentary series, or ?? i would absolutely be up for a documentary series about the wildlife and cultures and geology and everything of the region. silent scenery not so much.
if I check it out any time soon, I'll let you know! FAKE EDIT: looked up slow TV telemark canal, there is a bit of dialogue but it seems pretty skint? not silent at all, though, lots of crowd chatter from distance creating murmuring, lots of canal/water/actual freaking locks!!!! they're so cool/boat sounds idk if this is true for american netflix, but I've currently got these ones on canadian netflix! train ride bergen to oslo salmon fishing telemark canal national firewood morning national knitting night (this is the main part of the knitting stuff) national firewood night national knitting evening (pregaming!!) national firewood evening
