Middle aged white men in Indiana. Actually, specifically that demographic group tends to be the ones who 1) make assumptions and 2) give vibes that I'm less comfortable correcting them :/

Overall, living in Indianapolis is awesome and pretty queer-friendly - specifically, the city & the more rural attached neighborhoods. The more wealthy attached neighborhoods/cities are distinctly less safe feeling- our only "holy shit this is Not Okay" public queer moment innnnnnnn, like, the last several years was in a nice restaurant in Carmel, where we realized over the course of dinner we were being stared at with hostility by, like, most of the staff and some of the patrons, so we just finished up quick & scooted out, and then got coffee with a friend further into the city.

 

Tomorrow I want to:

• Do the Full Pretty
• Fold clothes
• Find the treegarth sample
• Make CHYW thread
• Write finalized payment policy
• Maybe research & update our shipping stuff?
• Cube the ham
• Get stock started

i finally made the heckign thread and am now going to not be anxious about it because i said so

also, today was very hard bc yesterday incurred spoon debt, but i'm curled up on the couch with my wife, surrounded by yarn, and i have a mug of delicious warm things, so it's gonna be ok. (all the cute things have seriously helped, thank you everyone so much)

Yeah, today is even worse than yesterday executive-function-wise, so with Kai's blessing I'm just gonna be a bedcreature. Knit some, stretch goal take a shower. It sucks when I get unexplained down swings, but at least I have a support system who help make sure I'm okay.
