Did my two-monthly test at the gym and I've knocked three whole minutes off my 300m time on the bike, among other things!
i got a job! the job that i wanted!! they haven’t actually given me the offer yet but the weld tester/trainer said he’s recommending me so i’m p much a shoe-in. i have a real adult career!! AND i finally get to play d&d this saturday, i’m so excited :D
the store I work at has acquired a hazard-detecting robot who scoots around the store with a camera and pages the appropriate department if she finds a mess she's been on for three hours and I would die for her, she's so cute
Spoiler: SHE LORG this is Marty she's tall and dumb and I love her she has little cameras on her head and at ground level to Look, but if her Hazard Alert function is on I think they stop working? If she sees A Mess she gets stuck repeating "danger: hazard detected" in English and Spanish until someone pushes the "thing has been cleaned" button.
Comfy new jeans, made of cloth which might not wear through in less than a month for once! Fingers crossed and remind me not to buy cheap clothes again.
Our crepe myrtle hasn't bloomed yet, which is unusual, but I think it's the wonky weather right now. It's my favorite bloom out of all our plants because our tree is very tall and the flowers seem to go on forever :D I'll post pictures once it's ready
