discovery of the day: baby turkeys are very soft friends

 

context: we get wild turkeys around here, and a baby one fell off a short retaining wall—they were unharmed, but they couldn’t get back up bc Too Smol and Too Young To Fly, and they were cheeping like mad because their mama was up there

so i waited until mama turkey’s back was turned (because i didn’t want to get mauled by a goddamn turkey) and carefully scooped up babby turkey and put them back up

soft feathers. very soft and good
