I don't think we'll get our own subforum unless we start posting a lot or a lot of threads um. one way i think to organize may be to label each thread with like something??? like in the title. maybe an asterisk or something? just to make it apparent that it is one of our threads
I thought we could just request our own subforum? We don't have a lot of threads now, but I think we're probably going to.
i dunno? i figured a subforum would be given to or could be requested if people have a bunch of threads and stuff but. -shrug- rp culture here on the forum is Way Weird and different from what i'm used to. And I say this as someone who helps run an RP forum.
In case you didn't get that line, "I knew you had it in you" is what Flowey says if you don't spare him at the end of a neutral run.
So what do we wanna say happened to the human souls? Did they just fly off to god knows where? What actually happens to humans souls typically upon death with this set-up?
I'd kind of like to do something like. Reincarnation into monster bodies? but I don't know what would justify that... Also I noticed that Blue Human's themed with Sans (the gravity attack, at least) and the Waterfall area, so I'm not sure how to attach that to the backstory stuff.
All I've seen in canon is that human souls can persist after the human dies, and that they can be captured by monster magic and/or tech. No word on whether they actually last forever, or if they have somewhere they're supposed to go. Which seems to me like we can throw in as many new ideas and possibilities and exceptions as we need to make our characters and plot work. The interpretation I've usually seen is that the humans died in the area where you find or buy their stuff. Papyrus never caught a human before Frisk, but maybe Sans killed her? Or Gaster? Or maybe her usual way of fighting involved more jumping as opposed to Frisk's dodging. That would make sense if she was using Ballet Fu.
Hmm, I kind of figured that they all made it to the King, since he has all those coffins... Also it'd mean that the Ribbon and Toy Knife human died in the ruins. Though, perhaps that's why Toriel is now so careful with Frisk. The flavor text associated with the Blue Human in the golf game is So it was probably a combination of jumping and dodging.
Random other question: are Frisk and Asriel staying with Toriel, or with Asgore? Or switching back and forth? It was Toriel that made the offer to Frisk in the canon ending, but it probably went a little differently with Asriel there.
Well, that's why I said Annie lost her original weapon and hat before she went to the castle and met Asgore, so I could play with that a bit. I thiiiiink Alex is staying with Toriel in this, although you'd have to check with @Aondeug . In which case, I'd imagine it might be prudent to, uh, have Frisk and Asriel staying with the other parent until things cool down some?
Alex is living with Toriel, yes. They might be a robot and a huge brat but they are still HER PRECIOUS DARLING CHILD. ONE OF THEM. THERE ARE MANY. That and Alex would insist on it because Mom is better. Even murder boy knows this.
Hello, I am here to take names and party party party party. (Just testing out her sub-account, haha.)
OK I maaaay have thought of a backstory for Blue Human? Ballerina kid, basically kickmurdered their way through everything that attacked them first (probably not the dogs because. dogs.) after the Ruins, and so got Sans' attention, but managed to make it to Waterfall. There, met Shyren and danced a bit to her music but didn't hum along. Was killed by Sans a bit later (hence why he has the blue attack) and the kid's tutu and shoes floated down through Waterfall, ending up where they do. They never returned to Shyren after that, of course, which could be why Shyren was so shy - thought that she scared off the human or something. IDK, sorry for the poor grammar.
Hmm, Annie is Yellow Human's sis? And they may have been the most recent death before Frisk... Well, if we assume Aqua Human was first after Chara then Blue Human was the third after Chara, so pretty far in the past. Also, possibly because of Flowey's absorbing the souls and using them to attack, maybe Blue Human could reform as a new monster, a bit flower (Echo flowers, to be specific, but still), a bit goatish, and mostly something new. Or something like that.
