@BPD anon the first thing that came to mind was Captain Planet. But I'm pretty sure Gaia isn't a villain and unless your an oil baron.

Haha, no that wasn't a real guess, which is why I said the 'but' part. I have no idea who the character is, I was just amused at my brain.

 

Young woman murders both her parents, then uses deception to get close to the princess, for the express purpose of stealing from her

 

After his boss forces him to wear a stupid hat at work, this guy goes out and gets a much nicer hat, along with some other accessories.

i think i've got a couple good ones.

an alien with nearly every power known to man uses them to control and eliminate anything that differs from his worldview. he's virtually unkillable, and easily manipulated which in some cases has led to the deaths of many.

and

a woman forcefully trapped in a machine tries to make the best of things, and uses it to pursue science very thoroughly.

it actually is superman, i was playing up his complete black and white worldview (in the old comics at least, i've heard he's gotten a lot more down to earth since much retconning) and sort of working off his weakness to all types of magic and the fact that he used to be very trusting of anything anyone told him. but yeah, you got it!

 

cool! He makes a pretty terrifying villain, really. I've read at least two books with evil superman-allusions (as in, the character is an allusion)

 

if you've ever heard of the game Injustice he was pretty damn scary in it. i kinda picked him to see if i even COULD paint his character black, and about halfway through i remembered Injustice supes and was like, "yeah this is actually kinda feasible if the right conditions are met."
