So! Y'all like undertale and y'all like liveblogs, so I'm starting a (mostly) unspoiled liveblog of undertale (duh). Things I know: - everything from the demo, which I played a couple years ago - there is a character named Chara, presumably revealed after you've been lulled into thinking that's just part of the interface - the music gon be great (it's toby fox, duh) - flowey may have some sort of sympathetic backstory if you decide to spare him? - doing a genocide run permanently locks you out of some endings - there, is in addition to goat mom and flowey who I know from the demo, some sort of goat dad, two font skeletons, some lesbian lizard scientist and the bastard child of Vriska Serket and Miki Sayaka. - guilt trips and interface fuckery I'm not planning to do a full pacifist run or a full genocide run, at least not for this first runthrough. Anything else, or shall we get right into it?
... sure. Let's do this. Shades of FE7, here. Gosh, but that mountain looks like the island from Cave Story. Which is about expected, given how much Toby Fox loves Cave Story and the fact that Undertale is basically a synonym-spin-off title of it like Homestuck is to Earthbound. Not much to say here other than damn, that is some pretty art. yyyyyyyeah I hope I've got some sort of resistance to falling damage. That's gonna smart.

Small point of order because I am a pedant: Doing a genocide run doesn't lock you out of any endings- you can still play each route through to its conclusion after doing a genocide run.
