FROG ALERT FROG ALERT



He was guarding my lettuces from slugs like the best garden buddy :)

 

Today i saw a bumblebee land on a flower for feeding, but the flower came off the stem and both it and the bee plummeted to the ground

bee was fine, she flew up and got to work on another, sturdier flower, one better suited to the weight of a big burly bee

 

Today i met a handsome mister named uno! He's a bunny they let free roam at our excellent pet shop/aquarium shop down the street from my house and I love him. I went with my sis in law and she sent me a pic she took of him:

I'm at a vacation rental by Lake Chelan, chilling on my own with my laptop outside once the sun moved enough that I could see without squinting, and had been sitting for a while when I hear peeping behind me. Squirm around on my pool chair and what do I behold but like a dozen quail not eight feet away from me inside the fence, all taking dust baths ;3; mostly adults but a couple younger ones and chicks too.

and I didn't have my phone goddamnit >:V and my mom was out at a winery so I couldn't call her outside (she loooooves quail)

 

It turns out that the noise in my closet was a small brown bat.
I have no idea how things keep getting in here.

[Edit] At first I thought it was a mouse, which would have been awkward because I live on the fourth floor and so dumping it out the window probably wouldn't have made many people happy. Getting it over to the door would have been a gigantic hassle.

 

I went camping this weekend! It was larp camping, so not a ton of wildlife wanted to be near the 130 people running around and yelling all saturday. On sunday morning i discovered a little black frog under my tent taking advantage of the wet, and there were a doe and fawn hanging out in the field next to the park entrance, eating grass and watching people leave.

 

An actual goddamn bear that the site is refusing to let me upload a picture of.

 

Saw a deer cross the road and felt like I was back in the islands for a moment. All deer live to cross roads at inconvenient and dangerous times

 

Turkeys too. And they dgaf about cars, they'll just stand there for minutes at a time.

 

I saw another frog! He held still and I managed to get a good picture this time!

 

It lets me post the bear now!

I misread this and thought it said warthog doggo and I was very confused

 

Met this sweet boy on a delivery

 

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture when it happened, but there was a frog in my room a few days ago! My cat was chasing it around, I thought it was a mouse at first. It would have had to go through my entire house to get in my room, too, and yet a croaky friend was met against all odds :o
