If there were popcorn and candy in more palliative care league meetings I would cry in public a lot less often

 

Today is a good day because i only had twelve hours of classes, but it is bad enough that I know I have to study now that I'm going to arrive home early but I still want to go swimming because I literally cannot bear sitting. I'm sick of sitting

 

Was existing a few centimeters to the left of my body today, so I went swimming until my muscles started to ache (not long, 25-30min; I'm very out of shape) and took a really hot shower. Now i have slathered moisturizer and am feeling, while not 100%, much better.

I am still bummed I'm not doing my patient interviews correctly, but it is only my third and I have to remember that no one is expecting me to be a perfect doctor on my second semester of 12 of med school and that it is a good thing that people are not expecting perfection right off the bat.

My friend was telling me about guys in our uni she found hot and about the type of men she was attracted to and I am glad she didn't ask about me because I would have to admit to people in my med school who are just starting to know me and are going to be future work colleagues that my kind of guy to find attractive is Greg Universe from children's cartoon Steven Universe

 

my husband had the idea that we make a cute wooden board with some cute drawings/lyrics/stuff like that. some pinterest couple thing. with some scraps of wood we have from renovating our apartment

and it is. AN ADORABLE IDEA. SUPER ROMANTIC. He got started on it and was waiting for me when i arrived wednesday super tired and i cried because i love him so much but

he also asked me to come up with something to do on it and i am drawing a complete blank because my romance stat is in the negatives and we, like. we don't have a lot of couple stuff (a song, a place we had a first date) because of the nature of our relationship. so i don't know what to do. there are tons of song lyrics i like and could use but it feels so not personal and also our music tastes rarely match

 

wish i had been born with at least one (01) romantic bone in my body

 

Wish I had a good camera phone to photograph my makeup today because it is VERY good

 

cant wait until i'm actually in residency so that i can change all my handles to variations of resident goth
