hey hey redraw reigen zine got shipped out so i can post my piece

it's a redraw of this painting called Tampuhan, by Juan Luna. It's sort of a lovers quarrel painting and I find that concept hilarious, and the painting rather pretty
I took some liberties and changed the mood of my piece

this one loses a lot from the photo - there’s a lot of metallic and iridescent bits on the original

Indeed. It doesn't look like a photo but it... doesn't really need to? Almost impressionist, I think.
