Uh, zero. I have family members who can sew, but I don't think they've ever done leather stuff.

 

just enough of a cold to be a nuisance, not sick enough to justify calling out of work :/

 

I cut my toenails too short and it's sore.

 

So 8 tracks won’t let people who live outside the u.s. and Canada use the app, which is annoying because I live in the u.s. and still can’t access the app.

Edit: Checked twitter and they’re shutting down except for the website, so the post I read on the website is a little misleading.

 

wait, I thought the whole thing including the website was shutting down??

I've been getting a lot of random calls this past month but this is the first time I've been called by someone from another country. I didn't pick it up, but someone was calling from Russia.

 

They probably had several million dollars US that they needed help getting out of the country.

 

Super petty, but: I fucking hate the speedway levels in the Spyro games. I've never been particularly good at them in the first place, but having to play them again in the remastered games is irritating af. How am I supposed to 100% a game with side levels that make me want to tear my hair out?

 

It's not annoying me, per se, but it's another data point on the "yes people are exactly as much trash as you cynically think" graph

Took down a picture which was a gift from a friend to repaint the frame. I say a gift, the guy was a photographer and his 'art' was the present and he spun me some sob story about being too hard up to bear the costs of losing that art sale and having it framed professionally, so i believe I paid him to have it framed, I can't even remember how much.

Anyway I wanted to paint it to match my decor and guess fucking what, once i take it apart it's not a professional frame, just wrapped chipboard, and it's got a faded print which has obviously been displayed already in the backing mount.

Anyway the guy moved to Cyprus and we lost touch but I'll no longer think of him particularly fondly.

'Tis the lie that pisses me off most

 

During the first snowstorm of the season I had the Subaru loaded up with heavy workshop stuff, plus a pickup-bed trailer also loaded heavy, bringing things to from the old house to the new. Pulling into the driveway I thought I'd need a little speed to get up the incline through the snow, but once I got up I hit the brakes and didn't stop, sliding until I hit the corner of the garage damaging the house and the garage door.

Fast forward a bit and we hired a company to fix it. The worker took the money, signed off with the company as having completed the job, got paid, and went dark. Weeks later we're calling the company asking if the materials were in yet so they could start the job, and they thought the job was complete. They say they fired the guy, who scammed a bunch of other customers, and are pursuing him legally. Now the company is re-quoting higher, saying the guy did it wrong.

 

I'm officially Sick but I don't wanna rest or eat bland soft food or any of that shit. And I can't take meds for it because I'm allergic to like all of them

 

Here we are, three days later and the whole house is sick :( it's like a hoard of zombies shuffling around trying to help each other unsick

 

I wish I could draw.

 

I recommend a good belt that holds your holster securely; if it flops around it can snag and slow your draw.

Pokemon Go Piplup Community Day in 2 hours but it's snowing. I know they're penguins, but c'mon, weather, would it have killed you to make this be the day with that freakish 70-degree temperature from a week ago?
