That one anime trope where the lovable clumsy nerd character wearing glasses takes them off and slicks their bangs back to reveal they were a bad guy the whole time

"I never even needed glasses, muhuhaha!"

Ok but now I want a romcom where that happens instead of the usual "She was beautiful once she took her glasses off!"

Yeah, that looks like something a person might think was similar enough if they weren’t that concerned about women having physical bodies? It’s amazing how differently limbs work if you attach short stilts to half of the end of two of them, effectively changing the proportions of upper versus lower limb and significantly reducing stability. The upper legs tend to end up both pulled and pushed tighter to the body the more extreme the pose. Part of it is just that getting your foot planted at roughly the same distance from your center means your knee needs to be several inches further in. Some of it’s probably about reclaiming leverage lost to the physics of a longer extremity by pulling it back to your core.

And some of it is the types of restrictions on movement that you would generally expect to encounter with the sorts of clothes that are frequently worn with fairly tall heels. Which seems like its own entire thought because, huhhhh.
Yeah this doesn’t seem unlikely at all. Look at how far apart her knees are. I’m honestly having trouble imagining that as anything like a natural way a woman might consider crouching in heels even if she were wearing jeans. I would very much tend to stand or crouch more or less the same ways I would if I were wearing a fitted knee length skirt unless I was getting very comfortable. Which, then I do tend to be limbs everywhere in strange twisty places, so I might actually end up doing something like that if I were wearing pants, but because I’m weird, not because it’s a way that most people might consider standing.

I could see this as maybe a fashion or media photo shoot pose, except the arms are so awkward that it doesn’t look good. Grabbing something behind her for extra leverage and strategically lowering herself down on top of someone makes by far the most sense to me.

It would probably explain how her shoulder is hiked up so high but without any apparent strain or muscular engagement to lift it. Steadying yourself and maybe holding yourself up a bit is a very different physical task than lifting your arm way up for balance. So that’s another reason why she looks so oddly out of touch with the ground.

Not the video itself, more just... It's existence??? This is the strangest Shining parody I've ever seen, and it already gets used a LOT. Also why Tim Allen. I'm jovially confused if that makes sense
