I managed to get a teeny bit of writing done. I have plans for a pod fic I want to put up on Patreon. In other news, yet another headset has bit the dust. >_<
So far, I have mostly managed to keep up with my intention to write at least a thousand words a day (or at least, get SOMETHING written.) I have managed to write eleven out of eighteen days! Which is an accomplishment since I was barely able to write at all the past few months because of lots and lots of medical appointments and stress because of upcoming SSI hearing. (Currently, the main issue is getting all of my records together and getting them to the attorney.) The latter has been hard to do, because I am occasionally stopped by things like not being able to get a hold of my darn caseworker, or having to get records for places I don't remember having been. I have mostly been working on fan fic, though I have two original fic projects: One original fic project is mostly me noodling around with some worldbuilding from what is actually a hentai manga. While not actually being fan fic because I am also sticking in my own characters and playing with the worldbuilding to make my own worldbuilding. The other project is a potential podcast. I am somewhat hindered by maybe needing a new microphone and also a headset that works. (My headsets die very quickly. It's frustrating.) In the meantime, I'm attempting to script out the podcast, which is about a robot who is summoned by a sorcerer. And things happen.
Last Friday I spent the entire day on the most boring fetch quest. I had to get imaging of a CT I had last October to my PCP. Apparently, they had not been able to get it themselves, and they needed to compare the old CT with the new CT. (The CT is for a Horrible Lung Thing, related to the Horrible Thyroid Thing and the Horrible Liver Thing. So far the Horrible Thyroid Thing turned out to be benign.) The quest took All Damn Day because it took three tries to get the cd burned, then I had to wait for the buses that would take me to the pcp's clinic. THEN I had to go to the radiology department and hand over the cd. I was thinking of charging them for courier service, let me tell you. In other news, I am in a very annoying waiting pattern with the autism evaluation at the neurology clinic. The PCP sent the referral to the neurology clinic. The neurology clinic cannot set up an appointment with me until they talk to the PCP, who has not gotten back with them, despite their and my efforts to get them to frigging call. Today I have an appointment with the PCP. I will have to bring this up, hopefully without having a goddamn meltdown about it. In better news, I have managed to do a LOT of writing this month. I've been trying for a goal of a thousand words a day. (No particular project, just a thousand words.) I've managed to do a pretty good job of this? There are gaps of a few days, but overall I've managed to get the writing done.
Had a semi civil conversation via facebook messenger with my brother about my dad anxiety flailing all over my Facebook Page. (My writing Page, not the actual facebook. I have him blocked from my actual Facebook because I'm not no-contact.) The gist is that I wanted Dad to know that he left his actual home address on a public post on my Page. I also explained I have been out of contact because I am on no-contact with mom and dad and limited contact with my brother and sister. (We never got along as kids, we barely get along as adults.) I never explained previously because I am a coward and didn't want to deal with the passive aggressive drama. Currently at a doctor appointment. Moderately freaking out as my hearing approaches.
I may be Most Accursed where headphones are concerned. Especially where bluetooth headphones are concerned. They stop working, is what I'm saying. I survived the ssi hearing, and I'm somewhat optimistic. Very little writing got written the last few weeks of February because of the entire waiting for the hearing. I am hoping to get some catching up done.
My brother the moonbat has given me a Regimen. He also doesn't know that colds, flus and covid 19 are different viruses. And are all the same as an upper respiratory infection. So, just a heads up. To fight a cold and win. It takes 20 to 30 grams vit C. To fight a Virus it takes 40 to 50 grams. If you combine 50mg Zinc 3 to 6 garlic pills at 5000mg a day with your Vit C regimen works great. I just fought off a Upper respiratory Viral infection. Took 5 days. The worst day in a Viral infection is the 4th day. 1st day 30 grams 2nd day 36 grams 3rd day 40plus grams 4th day 40 plus grams 5th day full recovery upon wakeup. Did 40 plus grams anyway. 6th Day "Today" 21 grams so far by 11:30am. Feel just fine. Symptoms 1 Small urge to cough 2 Slight congestion in chest. 3 Burning sensation in upper chest. 4 Inflamed upper chest reduced oxygen intake per breath. 5 Full blown Plursey Very Sharp pain hard to breathe a full chest of air. The vitamin C did this. 1 Minimised congestion. 2 I never had to cough. 3 Removed inflammation in chest at 6grams one shot. 4 Removed Plursey from chest at 6 grams one shot. Protocol, 6 grams then 3 grams every 30 min until symptoms resolve. At 24 grams this way, my symptoms would resolve ofcourse It gave me diarrhea but my chest was just fine. Day 1 I ran 2 miles Day 2 I rested Day 3 I ran 2 miles Day 4 I rested Day 5 I rested Day 6 Today, Time to run again. Supplements: Vitamin C, Garlic, Zinc, Plus 1000 mg B3, 1000mg TMG. Honorable mention: Chicken Broth, Chai Spice Tea, 3000mg Flax seed oil. Nothing else! No Aprin, No Tylenol, No nothing. 100 percent recovery. Never missed a Training day, never missed a day of work. At this tall of a dose 18 to 21 grams plus VitC is an uncanny. 1 Diuretic 2 Anti inflammatory 3 Blood Thinner 4 Anti Pathogen 5 Anti oxidant 6 Energy booster 7 Laxative Drink lots of water, make sure to get Electrolytes. Best on a low carb diet.
I honestly just started scrolling after the day by day breakdown because. Why. Vitamin C and garlic can help! Yes! But they're not. Magic spells???
My. Entire. Family. Is like this. Which is ironic, since many of them were medical care providers of one kind or another. Moonbat Brother is not, but he is fond of the quackery.
I don't know if you ever were on pottermore, but my favorite game (before the site stopped actually having those) was the potion making one. Highly specific time sensitive rituals! Esoteric ingredients! Yeah, your brother's cold and flu approach reminds me of that.
That is something else. Damn. Maybe this is an “everyone is different” thing, and I am a known delicate hothouse flower. But if I ran or even walked quickly for two miles when coming down with a respiratory infection, I would not be coming down with it anymore. I would be floored by it. I’d be out of commission for days while my lungs debated whether they could ever forgive me for my transgression. My friend (who is recovering okay) almost certainly has corona. I’m so confused about what on earth would be the worst day. Even if the virus ran the same timetable for everyone, which stage is the worst? Most of them lasted several days. Pretty sure it wasn’t something as simple as day four.
I think it's something that probably tracks to personal variance, not any given disease? The "worst" day for me is usually 2-3 before my last day of symptoms (for things like flu, stomach bugs, ear infections). Idk why but I always seem to recover pretty rapidly from that point. But my sister usually reports the second or third day of symtpom onset to be the worst, and typically has a longer recovery period. So. No. I don't think you can point at any one day and say "that's the worst one for everyone."
The awesome part? I HAVE ASTHMA. I try to exert myself and I sound like a dying horse. Because my lungs hate me. I have NEVER been able to run, and am less able since I have an arthritic knee. Just. How many times do I have to tell him until he listens and then kindly shuts the fuck up?
Social distancing is not much different than my normal social behavior! The only big difference is that the apartment complex office is closed down and I have to sit outside to get wifi, as opposed to sitting inside. So far have not gotten sick except for the usual asthma/weather change thing. I am also somewhat short on food and there was some difficulty getting toilet paper and distilled water. (I am displeased.) Also there was the Regimen. >_>;
So, that Prospit/Derse fic where the Prospit kids essentially kidnap the Derse kids because they are Shiny is up. >_> lions with blue mane 1/? A generation ago, Skaia was conquered by the Prospiti barbarians, with aid from the Alternian Empire. For that same amount of time, there have been continuous border skirmishes between Skaia and Derse. The war takes a new turn when the youngest member of the Derse royal family is taken in battle. Or After capturing the youngest son of the rulers of Derse in battle, the Prospiti heirs of Skaia decide they want to complete the set. first chapter: in which Dave is worth many goats, and lies badly.
Earlier today I got a call from the apartment management office! It wasn't anything bad, it's just that office person needed to know the password for guest wifi. Just. Why do you not know this, and why was I the first person you thought of? (I know the answer. I'm in the lounge most of the time, though right now the lounge is closed.) It was very confusing to be asked about the password, and at first I thought she wanted the office password and I'm going "Why would I know that? I don't work for you!"
I have managed to write every day this week, and managed to get 1000+ words written for almost every day except yesterday because I had to take a call from social security. (which I did not know I'd be getting because I did not get the letter about the phone appointment.) i have to give them a bunch of stuff via fax. I do not have a fax machine! I had to call my case manager. She says I can use the clinic fax machine but I have to do an ROI (release of information) I managed to communicate to her that she *needed to print out my finances spread sheet* so that i could get it faxed. I also had to set up an appointment for my next chest ct. The only writing I did was fan fic. As you do. >_> I did have plans to work on The Story I Ain't Advertising Here. I also need to somehow revamp The Story Whose Location is Strongly Based off A House I Really Hated, Though the Yard Was in All Ways Superior, if Soggy in Spring. This is mostly because certain parties (since this is a dark fantasy with a certain amount of bad things happening) would think i was writing about them, when I was not. (I am writing about the goddamn creepy ass house and also smut.) I want to try writing something for Smashwords. >_> Maybe several somethings. If i can write actual stories and finish the damn things. Which is always a problem. (Y'all have no idea how long it took me to learn how to finish a fan fic story. And I still think my endings are goddamn flat.)
TFW you want to find bras that will make your 48 chest somewhat flatter. or rather, flat in the first place.
