I am trying so hard to fall down this rabbit hole and it feels like I'm actually having to fight the youtube algorithm because it doesn't believe I'm serious. There just has to be more than one entity on all the internet playing existing songs entirely with Windows system sounds, but they are buried deep. At least they did Guren no Yumiya. It's so much the opposite of epic that I'm cackling.
I mentioned that it is my birthday in a "we're all freaking out let's hang out on zoom and verbally hold one another" meetup with some other GaelPols (it being my birthday just came up as part of an explanation of a discussion on ice cream), and had to stop for a minute because people in seven or eight different time zones all immediately started trying to sing me happy birthday over the stuttering connection. It was really sweet ^_^
One of the nicest birthdays I've ever had happened when I was feeling very alone and unimportant. I'd been spending a lot of time online so I had friends there, but I really hadn't made any irl friends at college. Then as the clock ticked over to midnight in their time zone, each of my friends online wished me a happy birthday. I was receiving wonderful messages all night as the globe turned. It is very possible to have a happy birthday over the internet. People are so good sometimes. Happy birthday, @Anomal(eee) ! I'm so glad your friends were there for you.

I got my first car a few months ago (a 2001 Nissan Maxima named Liam Nissan) and I love him, I'm so glad you have one now too!! :D
Got this dude at cracker barrel a while back! He's floppy, has a unique fur pattern that doesn't set off sensory issues, and is just the right size for sleep hugging. Also his fur color is so nice, best bun bun: Spoiler: Big pic His name is Henry and I love him
The Shedd Aquarium has also posted a bunch of videos of penguins getting guided tours of the aquarium while everyone's out in the last week or so. Also a porcupine.
Witcher 3 and all its dlc are super on sale so I just got them for my sibling :) probably should have waited until their bday but nah they’re gonna wake up to the gift notification! :D I just hope my laptop is capable of running it
PBS programming right now is running from 6am to 6pm a series of programs called at home learning! They are subjects running from k-12 and are also supplying digital resources on their site! It's supported by American masters, they're currently doing 9-12 grade American literature and the first show is about pulp fiction, with one about the book little women next
One of my DnD players told his friend about my West Marches game and they want to play with us! They're someone I follow on Tumblr and I adore their OCs and their art so I am Big Nervous but also delighted that they like the sound of the game!
