Broken for me. I wonder if this is a phone vs PC issue? I'm on my phone, and this is not the only image that has looked broken to me today.
The beginning of a hot pad! It will be in the pattern of the Gilbert Baker pride flag, because the giftee's other preference (the progress flag) would be harder to do in this pattern. I had to add a layer after the fact for the pink.
vibrates with excitement LOOK WHAT I GOT not so much a christmas present, more of a family heirloom passed down. it was my maternal grandfather's. that bobbin with the white yarn on it is his last project, I believe. surprisingly, despite living in an uninsulated attic for probably close to two decades, it seems to be in perfect working order. I gave it a dusting and I'm ready to try spinning on a wheel for the first time after lunch :D
Coworker askes me If i could embroider something for her Turns Out, she wants to propose to her Boyfriend via an embroidered Jersey of his fave Football Team, Reading 'will you marry me?' instead of the Name I am, ngl, incredibly flattered that she approaches me
I don't think that I ever shared this here! It is going to be a hot pad. The Gilbert Baker pride flag one side, and the intersex-inclusive progress flag on the other.
Centered! The numbers are just dimensions of the sections, and the colored dots are just to measure where to put things.
Finished! Almost. I have to remove the dots (measurements to help me center everything) and the numbers (dimensions of various elements and the distances between them).
I am going to need so much more of this thread. Spoiler: big probably (don't know what it looks like on desktop) This is a full hank. I am going to need, let's see... 37 more squares. Not counting the rhombus in the center of the last one. The thing is that this thread came in a variety pack of rayon embroidery thread and I only have one other. And they don't have any labels for me to pick out the specific color. :/
only when you said this did I realize those were measurement notes and not damage numbers for Julius Caesar's HP loss. :::')))
I have gotten that a lot! Virtually everywhere I've shared this at least one person has said something along those lines. I find this hilarious.
So i am planing my Magnum Opus (1940s Coat with contrasting fabric, embroidery, all the Bells and whistles and then some) And i worked out how i want the top flap of the Pocket, dobe in Red accenting fabric,to be embroidered: Flowers (foxglove, hellebore) to be done in ribbon embroidery because i need to learn another fibre craft (The other accenting fabric will be a Slash over the spine with vertebrae in it, and a folded down collar with clavicle and ribs)
