It's Sunday and I'm not playing DND so my routine has been broken, but I'm alive and also a little bored so that's okay. Made this wonderful joke character last week for a goofy one shot I played in for one of my sister's birthday! His name is Le Mario and he's horrible and I love him:

The Zuppa Toscana soup from heb isn't very good ‍
Second soup we've tried from there and it's all bland and this time stinky. I get there's kale in it but gross. I like their salads way better, and their sushi even more. They are wonderful about cross contamination in all the hot and ready departments so far! Not sure on the bakery yet but gluten isn't a personal problem, just a family associated one

 

Scarborough renfaire! Saturday! Excited!!!

They set up an adventure larp booth this year and I'm gonna go on quests with my best friend and his family around the fair! Also hopefully I can find something nice for mother's day, my mom loved the candles from last year but idk if I wanna do a repeat gift

 

The ren faire was an absolute blast! The larp booth was a huge success, and we ended up in a lot of booths we never would have gone in, including a carved staff shop that had some of the most intricate and beautiful pieces I've ever seen

In other news, I'm watching princess jellyfish for the first time and it's delightful! I just finished episode 2 and the humanity of each character is so refreshing, whether it's good or bad or really neither. I love it.

 

Went to a winery tonight for Irish jam. Good wine, drank too much though. Dark cherry Pinot noir

 

Why will no one try my peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. It's good, I promise!

 

After eating one, I'm pretty sure whatever Salisbury steak is supposed to be is actually just differently advertised hamburger

Episode one was fantastic! Not the weirdest reincarnation anime I've seen but damn do these two make a pair! I wish they'd figure out who each other is though.

Ruby finally getting to have a healthy body and dream big, mixed with her never having to think for the future before and that mindset leaking over to her new life is so intriguing! And mr Deep Regrets Doctor Aquamarine being supportive and then all at once Not At All gave me such whiplash.

Ai. So young, being battered around by show business at such a young age after her childhood; never knowing true love and being told that pretty lies can be love at all of 12 years old, it's crushing. She wasn't even sure she loved her own children, until it was too late.

The bit in the beginning where she said she had trouble remembering names unless they were very important to her was great foreshadowing of her remembering the name of one of her biggest fans as he killed her... God, I wanted to just crumble into dust, I felt so bad.

Just started episode two and Aqua's staunch refusal to support Ruby's dreams are killing me. I know why he is, but it's not making me any less frustrated

I am very interested in seeing how long Aqua's "I'm not going to be an actor" thing holds up. I can tell it's going from Steel Fortress to Cardboard in the Rain really fast

Like I get that it's true but this is exactly why thinking too hard about child acting makes me want to be a hermit. I also get fence sitting hurts more for everyone involved but I gots it pretty chronic.
