There was a dramasplosion last week in WT and SPR2 and I have literally hardly read anything else and that's not your fault!

 

Tbh, it would be more likely that the kismesis directed her off to somewhere that was supposed to be dead space? I'm not sure anyone knows that The Invincible still exists as a thing, much less that there's a survivor. (Basically, the apocalypse happened and everyone died. Vastar doesn't know why she didn't, but she's had to do some pretty awful shit to stay alive.)

lol I think Vastar's main issue is that she's never thought of herself as a highblood? She lived on/around freshwater, and freshwater fishtrolls aren't considered as 'royal' as those who live in the Emissary's domain. When people address her as such she's like 'pfft yeah sure if you like' but she doesn't ascribe any real weight to it. Literally the only time she uses her caste as a weapon is to go 'RAWR MINE' at other indigos so she can get the lower-blood troll out of danger.

 

@PotteryWalrus do you wanna start a thread? I'm down for this is you are! I could probably write a starter for Liamah if you want

I'm thinking of rebooting my seadweller Feresa, who's heavily based on mermaid myths. She's semi-feral, having gone off the grid to migrate with her lusus and her lusus' pod (dolphin lusus) at a young age. She can speak and understand language, and read, but writing is hard for her, and she mostly studies survivalist or marine biologist stuff. Technically homeless, lives off the sea, doesn't really understand the hemosystem or alternian society very well. 8 sweeps old. Likes gold and shiny things. Probably not going to do very well at ascension if nothing changes.
