ha, if there were freely available sex pollen shrooms aboard, the crew would be a whole lot richer and more relaxed.

 

i've stalled out again! what would be interesting to have happen after this? it seems like it'd be anticlimactic for erskin to absent-mindedly work himself into exhaustion and then curl up in somewhere and snooze, which is his usual habit for infrastructure maintenance. then again, bel might be impressed by it?

they should get back to murfey's at some point, too. maybe erskin works himself cross-eyed and then bel chivvies him off for a meal or something, recognizing that erskin's actually still pretty thin and ragged looking, even if bel doesn't know his recent history. i think he barely had time to get his feet back under himself from the leg incident, before it was time for a couple weeks of very damaging clown-fuck time, so he's got an eyepatch and a lot of fresh chew marks in addition to being badly underweight.
