Aaah!!! Look at the beautiful baby! She looks like the cats the kids I babysit have, who funnily enough were also strays!
She is absolutely adorable. One solution is keep her around as a "foster" until you can find her a home yourself, which would mean she doesn't have to go to the shelter and technically cuts out the middle man? Kittens get snatched up really quick in shelters though, so there shouldn't be a super large amount of worry. Everyone wants kittens.
