ey, doc just gave me a scrip for abilify and i was wondering if anyone else had experience w/ taking it? gonna be at 2mgs to start and see how that goes, which is a p low dose far as i can tell, but i'm curious. (idk on relevance, but: on lamotrigine and bupropion in addition 2 the new drug, done my time w/ escitalopram, citalopram, and fluoxetine. me and SSRIs don't mix v well. abilify's being tossed in2 the mix cuz my current cocktail's not working anymore and we're hoping that a kick in the pants in the form of abilify will make it useful again)
I've heard abilify being used as a booster in low doses for depression/anti-depressants. I take abilify for psychosis reasons so the dose I'm on is 10mg. I started on 5mg and didn't notice any side effects yet. So far it's a pretty tolerable drug. I hope it helps with your current mix of meds! I'm also on lamotrigine so I'm hoping this mix helps me too!
