There are good reasons to take breaks, and if you can't, it likely means either a) it's really working for you, or b) especially given the reaction you're having, you shouldn't be taking it. One of the primary concerns is that if you have that bad of a reaction to missing, you're more likely to develop tolerance because you are taking it every single day, and so you'll likely need to increase dose, which is unsustainable in the long run. He also mentions that taking a low dose some days works well for him, and that there are other meds that work better for some people. He specifically mentioned vyvanse, which I don't know if you've tried, or would be appropriate for you, but might be worth looking into.
