... who remind me of the internet I grew up with at 12, 14, even 17. I'm older now and I'm legitimately scared of the future. I'm scared of the new set of puritanical values that my peers show on Tumblr, social media, and in real life conversations, and how those values will affect things when my generation has more wealth and power. I think by sharing everything on "Web 2.0" we democratize ourselves as individuals, we all slide towards the center and become uniform... Anyway. I have forgotten how to even use forums so excuse me if I do anything silly. I'm a queer kinky fandom nerd and dreamy rock n' roll poet type. He/him/his pronouns please, and I take milk and sugar in my tea. Seebs' tumblr (which I began following only a few weeks ago) has been restoring my hope for humanity and faith in the voice of the individual, after too long in the chilly Tumblr climate. (I've had a couple of shitty bullying and kink shaming incidents on there.) I think I've followed some other folks who are on this forum. Thanks for being outspoken, for being rational af, and holding yourselves accountable in comment threads. A solid bunch... which is why I'm here.
