Hi there! I'm mrozna (some friends call me Roz), a 24 years old weirdo with severe ADHD, living in Poland, eh-gendered, and dreaming about a better future. I'm an artist with a bachelor's degree and I like birds, bees, dark beer, languages, post-apocalypse and gore. I'm also a casual gamer and my current obsession is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (it's... been going for a while. Don't ask me about S.T.A.L.K.E.R., I will talk for hours) Unpopular opinion: I like doing dishes. I find it satisfying. Nice to meet you!
A friend of mine lent me S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but I haven't had the free time to play it yet. Fellow lover of dark beer here.
Spoiler Oooooo, cześć! Jaki ten świat mały :D Aw yissssss, I luv me some Roadside Picnic. I've been planning to read it in its original language for quite some time... I should get on that.
Hello nice to meet you. That may be an unusual opinion, but I highly doubt it would be unpopular with anyone living with you.
Spoiler Hehe, też tak mam :P Gadam sobie z Polakami i co chwila przyłapuję się na wrzucaniu angielskich powiedzonek w co drugie zdanie I have troubles communicating in speech (even in my native language, haha), but yes, I'm fully trilingual. I also know a bit of French (it was my primary foreign language at elementary school. I hated it, but our teacher was cool.) I don't think school taught me much in this case. My English classes weren't particularly horrible. Mediocre might be a better word? I only really started to learn English when I discovered how useful it is for communication, and I literally didn't care about languages until I became obsessed with Russian history and culture as a teen and I self-taught it myself. My main goal is to learn German and Sign Language (can't decide which, there are a lot of dialects... HALP)
Haha, I'm planning to move out with a friend and I offered I will take care of that because she hates doing dishes. She was so relieved.
I also speak Polish, but as my spelling is horrendous and I'm not at all confident that I'm using the right word half the time, I don't really use it on the internet.
@Valerie It's not just you. Honestly I should practice more so I don't lose it, but I'm too self conscious about it.
Gosh, it's like I'm reading about myself, only in Polish class. I corrected my teacher all the time and she hated me for that. Didn't help that I was such a grammar nazi back then, it's so embarassing :D But yeah, learning a language by yourself is perhaps more complicated, but also a lot more satisfying. Not to mention they don't teach you slang in school (which is sad, because slang is fascinating).
