Appropriate criticism for a follower?

    I tend to check out the works of people who follow me on various fan-writing sites. One guy who's followed me has stuff up which is... okay, it's terrible at best and often veers into deeply offensive. I really want to say something to the guy, but I can think of no way to say anything. Should I even bother trying?

    I'd say don't, or if you really want to, try to be as constructive as possible.

    I'd amend that to don't, or ask first. "Hey [name], would you be interested in some critique?" If he says no, then that's that.
