it is! i like it even better than bees. less fiddly, and the chickens are so dang cute.

 

can't sleep, so i got up to read a bit before trying again. then i remembered it's tumblr doomsday, and i'm waffling on whether to go find out if i'm banned. i didn't back up my sideblogs. i may have lost like... several pages of rp that didn't get backed up. pretty sure roach dumped everything from jethro and bel into the google doc ages ago, but it's possible humanstuck bel and whitey the seatroll are lost to the forces of entropy.

when you think about it... deleting a skillion blogs without any provision to back up the data is like burning the library of alexandria without even knowing what was in it. that's pretty bad.

i have several options for self-soothing, so of course i've got choice paralysis and can't choose any of them. i could play with my pixel chickens, i could read avengers fic, i could pet my cat, or i could wake up seebs and get adorably frumpled at and then snuggled. instead i am here on my pseudo-blog stressing about all the gigs and gigs of data being lost forever tonight. they had to know their algorithm was not targeting porn. they had to know they were flagging so many things that weren't dicks and nipples. and they're gonna delete it all anyway. it's just so casually, halfassedly evil it takes my breath away.

right, right, calming down so i can sleep. seebs needs rest, so no wakey. cat has wandered off. pixel chickens or avengers fic? *waffles gently*

 

i caught a rooster. i don't know what to do with him but he is certainly jaunty!

there, i successfully bred a sulfur chicken. Sense Of Accomplishment acquired. i put the egg in the incubator and now i'm going to bed. night y'all.

 

i tried this and laughed myself stupid. his inventory is called 'studmuffin'! and look at him run! i'm so very pleased with this rooster. excellent value.

 

alas, no, i don't know how to take screenshot video and i'm not at all sure it wouldn't crash my oldish laptop if i tried. i wish i did, though, because he had such a good hustle. :D
