So I'm seeing a psychiatrist. He wants me to up the dose of the meds which aren't working and I'm pretty sure are fucking with my memory in order to make sure they aren't working, which I don't want to do, but I know he has to make sure they're not working and that I'm not just trying to get stronger dope for recreational uses. He then told me to take a blood test. I didn't take notes of exactly what blood work he wanted doing because I thought he was going to send a message to my GP and tell them directly. It's been two weeks and no such message has arrived. My GP is contacting the psych. Here's hoping it goes through. Aargh.

oph There was a user here, but it's gone now

Medical related bureaucracy is always somehow so much worse than other kinds of bureaucracy

It may be partly my fault because I can't find the note he gave me, but I didn't think I'd need it because I was under the impression he was going to send a message directly to the doctor. I can't remember if he said so or not, but I think he did. I know confidentiality is a thing but why do they even put my details on a computer record if they can't send them across via internet when it's relevant and necessary?

I hope it gets sorted quickly. Medical phone tag is the worst phone tag.

I'm really not looking forward to leaving school, since my doctor and psych are on the same system there so it's really easy for them to see the other's notes.
