Deadpool - Merc With A Mouth

Considering the release of the film, I figured that a thread for Deadpool is definitely needed.

I saw it opening night and felt it stayed pretty true to the humor and feel of the comics. :)

So: general deadpool thread! :D

 

Yessss, saw it last night. Right on point with tone and humor and cheerful upfuckedness.

 

I haven't seen it yet but I'm going to park here so I can get a feel for general opinions of the movie without having to wonder if they're just Tumblr being oversensitive

 

Honestly? It's violent and over the top but nothing struck me as especially offensive. It's a really fun movie.

i've only seen the movie, but just. yes. fightscenes with people who can't die/heal rapidly MY JAM YES

 

i have a handful of comics i can lend you? idk where my deadpool vs hawkeye ones went but i have two or three other ones

 

I've got the full pdf of eary stuff and cable and deadpool somewhere, I'm going to get some prnt copies asap but I'm not sure where to start on that....

 

I finally saw the movie holy shit what a great movie

 

LATE TO THE PARTY but I’m so freaking stoked. Finally got to watch the first one and I need the second one like I need air.

Deadpool is my favorite anti-hero, right alongside Spider Jerusalem.

 

The first thing I thought of when I saw that is "Spiders Jerusalem is an outlier adn should not have been counted."
