When I first thought of starting an etsy I was told the only way I would ever sell anything was if I made jewelry. So I did. I made lots of jewelry. Newsflash: I hate making jewelry. Well, I hated thinking i HAD to make jewelry. I like making jewelry every once in a while. 'just not enough to keep an Etsy shop stocked with JUST jewelry. I like textiles; I knit like a mad woman and I sew, I'm learning to crochet. I make patterns. I'm GOOD at making patterns. WHY AREN'T I SELLING MY PATTERNS?! Spoiler: Here's the first pattern I ever made The Elizabeth Cowl 2.0 named after my boss who bought one. (Hint: It's a rectangle with buttonholes. The first version didn't have buttonholes.) I don't know how to format them and make them professional. Does Anyone know? This is the link to my etsy, it only has jewelry on it right now. https://www.etsy.com/shop/DerpyFishCrafts?ref=hdr_shop_menu I'll go hide in the proverbial walls now.
