His name was Chewbaca [sic] which is perfect for his mane, but he is a very dentally-based affection boi, and thus his name is Chewy. More specifically, Tchewy-tchewy-tchewy Hi'honey.

Learned about piebald coloration (white-spotting) in cats! Apparently they just don't make enough pigment cells during development. The cells migrate randomly, which is fine if there are a lot of pigment cells, but creates patchy white spots in areas the pigment cells don't get to. That's why you can get all sorts of random white-splotch patterns with other colorations.
