So! I got a shower cap, an sd card, headphones, chocolate, and the things I'm most excited about A BRIGHT RED BINDER AND THE POE LIPSTICK FROM KAT VOD D (also a mini sampler thing of kat von d lipsticks, since when my mom buys gifts she goes all out XD)
Gift no.1 was a bit early, and is the fancy-shmancy desktop PC I'm typing this on :P I also got a bunch of like, poetry books and little knickknacks to put on my new desk! Feeling very productive.

My family got me practical gifts like clothes, a microwave oven, a mug and a box of Ferrero Rocher. All these things are awesome, but the COOL kind of gift came from myself! Dragon Age Origins: Awakening, all Origins DLCs plus the Trespasser DLC for Inquisition (which... I already finished... and it's so amazing!!!!!!!) Set of Tombow dual tip watercolor markers (IT IS!!! SO!!! AMAZING!!!) PLUS, my grandma and my uncle just gave me 300 reais, to which I'll add some bucks of my own to buy myself an oil painting set! Look at the shiny. It will soon be my shiny. MINE.
my brother got me a new graphics tablet! it's about a bajillion time better than my old one which became unusable recently. i also got some oil pastels and a few other cool things.

Last year I got a chewy necklace. I chewed it into holes within two or three months. I remembered to mention this to mum lately but thought I'd brought it up too late; my mum has an appallingly bad memory so I wasn't sure if she'd remembered me complaining about it earlier in the year. So present opening is very delayed because of Reasons, but Dad was impatient to give me one of my gifts. I got the SF Giants themed ugly sweater I was hoping for!!! He gave my brother a Golden State Warriors themed one yesterday and I was sooooo jealous and secretly hoping I got one like this. ;u; Pics later if 1) I'm somewhere cold enough to wear it and 2) I remember. Eeeeeeeeeeee. <3
Aside from my mom's acceptance and reassurance (which is PRETTY GREAT, ngl), I got a crockpot! I have wanted one for YEARS but they haven't been easily available here until pretty recently. (I got other cool stuff but the crockpot has me the most excited.) /boring grownup
BIG! STUFFED! CROCODILE! Mom said it was supposed to be six feet long, but it's actually about three. it is very fat and firm and it's got a honking big head and a neck curve that fits perfectly in my arm, and its feetpaws are hooked and so firm they're practically hooves. its fuzz back catches and lingers on my palms like how wax does but warmer and lighter and not gross-cloggy. feels good! also got animu Vegeta statue! Pointy! good! silly pose, but dragonball is silly and i love it. silly thing, asked for volumes 1-5 of the Adventure Time comic, got vols 2, 3, and 4. why no 1? not sequential storylines, but parents didn't know that. also got book i'd accidentally already gotten for myself. forgot i'd asked for it, whoops.
i said i didn't really want much in the way of things, because i have a lot of stuff, so my mom thought she would get me a gift card to my favourite sushi place. unfortunately, they do not sell gift cards, so she improvised... Spoiler: picture it appears she's a closet translator zeiat fan i kind of want to post this to my tumblr and tag anne leckie but it's not really-really zeiat-related and i am shy
The Imperial Radch trilogy. I'm already 200 pages into Ancillary Justice and going to finish it tonight. Then I might have to join you guys down in the Fan Town thread to scream about it. Also a new comforter and fuzzy pajamas!
My best present was one of those weird pillows with the arms on the side, the kind that you use for back support? I slept with it last night and I swear to God, neither my neck or back hurt ONCE :D
I got tea and books and rad nail polish and several scarves. I am so pleased with this!! Edit: AND BLACK FRIT FOR MY GLASS STUFF which is not expensive but I'd been putting it off bc I don't make any money on it and felt bad? so. I'm happy. And it rained, which is a really excellent present for me as the sound is extremely soothing and lovely, and @rats came over and we had a delicious brunch, and.. today was good, in summary. :)
Acey's dad's mom got me a $50 gift card to Gamestop, and Acey got me a couple of buttons and fingerless Pokemon gloves. Family wise, I got about $70, several more pairs of gloves, several ornaments, couple more coins to add to my collection (specifically, 1943 STEELIES FUCK YEAH), and candy. Though I think the best gift, aside from being here, has to be the fact my sister loves her gift from me, which was a small photo album I made at work for her. Nailed it.
I got a cool rock! oh and i get to pick one of my mom's cameras to replace my lost camera too, i guess.
Okay! Ive had three days of christmas gift stuff, and still one more to go. Spoiler: GIFTS Big picture of almost everything this is a quillow, from my absorbed sis. I am a hufflepuff, if you couldnt tell. Unfolded as a quilt^ From Kaylotta, my eldest sister, I got a tin of baking and a pile of extra fabric, with a promise to make me a poncho at a later date. And gifts form the rest of my close family. Arm/leg warmers from mom^ sketchbook from mom^ Pendant from mom, it opens to hold needles while sewing. (I didnt even know these EXISTED) Pokemon sweatpants from mom Pincushion and Bonita, the fluffballs. They are yarnpuffs (coined species by my sister), and shed like hell. (they have googly eyes and are adorable) (from other sis)^ AND MY BRO GOT ME YOSHIS WOOLY WORLD BRO YOU ARE THE BEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSST and in an hour im off to extended family christmas!
