Okay! So! In Spirit of Justice, one plot point in the fourth case is the existence and actions of a witness's dog! And because I am a terrible detail freak when it comes to animals (and also may write fics that mention the dog in future as I'm interested in the characters specific to that case) I got to wondering; what sort of dog is it? Here's what I think is the only picture (under a spoiler cut just in case though I don't think it spoils anything major): Spoiler I've been poking around trying to ascertain breed; the raised, curved tail suggested a Spitz type so I looked those up and found the Kishu Inu. Obviously Jugemu couldn't be an adult Kishu, but I looked up Kishu puppies and they seem very similar (look at this pupper for a start!), plus the fact that it's a Japanese breed seemed logical since the AA games are from Japan. But though I am an armchair dog breed expert I have limited experience with dogs in the flesh so to speak. So I decided to put this theory out here, so's to get it checked (or cross examined, heh) by those of you who know more than me. What I'm mostly wondering is; is it possible that a Kishu puppy that was old enough to be sold or given to a new owner could look like the dog in the picture? Also, for future reference; how big do Kishus get? I couldn't find any pictures of adult Kishu next to people.
