Okay, so the other day, I made the mistake of getting drunk...and that led to me puking all over my bed, including my mattress and several of my plushies. Does anyone have advice on how to clean up vomit? Especially the gross chunky kind? I wanna make my bed up all nice again but I've gotta clean this shit up first!
How I'd do it would be: For the mattress - 1) Scrape up the worst of it and dispose. 2) If there's still damp patches, sprinkle them with cornstarch. Let sit for about 15 mins to soak up what it can. Scrape that up. 3) For any remaining stains mix up one tbsp of white vinegar and one of dishwashing detergent with a couple of cups of warm water and sponge. For the plushies - Handwash them would be my best bet. I'm unsure how plush fabric reacts to detergents so I'd have a quick look online
Thanks! :D I did accidentally put one plushie through the wash and it came out fine, but I'll definitely handwash first. And I'll definitely take your advice re: the mattress!
