    It seems appropriate to use a David Bowie quote in recognition of his death, and it's a very appropriate quote for leaving school

    @oph yeah thats what im thinking too! my only concern is that someone i know brought up that he might be overquoted because he just died, even though i probably would have ended up quoting him if he was still alive :(

    ...am i missing something? does it matter if he's quoted a lot? is that not just a tribute to his influence...?

    Just that a bunch of people having the same quote would make it less special or memorable. This is the kind of thing one tries to be unique on, I think. I don't know about a bunch of people all quoting the same person, but an element of the "less memorable" is probably there, too
