i've managed to get a lot of my issues with preparing food either sorted or in the process of being sorted, and i am eating far more than i usually do- but even then we're barely getting one meal a day into me, and a lot of the time i'm buying food and drink and it just sits there in the fridge i think the problem is i'm just not remembering to eat. i'm now so used to being that low level of hungry, and ignoring it, that i don't seem to have normal 'oh it's been a few hours and i'm hungry again, i should eat' responses. the preparation is not as spoons draining as it used to be- i'm learning to shop for meals which i know i'll enjoy eating and that aren't too difficult to prepare. it's just... when i buy a steak, how do i make sure i actually eat it? instead of forgetting i bought steak at all, two days later, and then opening the fridge towards the end of the week and seeing the definitely-off meat. pls halp T~T
you know like 5 mins after i posted this i looked at the fridge and realised I HAVE WHITEBOARD MARKERS the fridge is like always in my field of vision when i am at my computer so if i have a 'u have delicious steak, bought this day, expires this day' i can just look over to check so i am going to utilise both this and your suggestion, thank u i had stopped making phone reminders because i accumulated too many but hey it's worth trying again

ok it kinda worked but it took me a while to implement and get it going it's not always getting me to eat things which are leftover but i am having considerable memory improvements and it's nice being able to write things on the door when i do put groceries or leftovers away (i should go add the bacon and eggs i got earlier) so mostly a success! that's a good article, too. i'm gonna try and make myself actually make those alarms nowish, and see how well that helps me further
