Hi, I'm Emery! Some of you have probably seen me mooping about in a few threads and the Skype chat, but I started posting/participating a couple days ago after lowkey lurking for a pretty long time. Anyways I decided I wanted to make an Official Introduction Thread. I like Undertale, Homestuck, and computers. She/her. :)
That does seem to be a good combination to match a bunch of the forum's residents, that's for sure! What kind of computer stuff do you enjoy playing with?
General programming - studying computer science in college currently. Also have enjoyed playing around with Linux a bit over the past few years.
There are quite a few programmers etc. here. I have a CS degree from way back and I work as a sysadmin/engineer at Disney, mostly coding in ruby these days. We're running Linux at industrial scale. A bunch of others here are programmers or computer people of other types; I know Seebs was on the C language standards committee for a while.
