My surface pro 2 charger broke, and while I know how to solder, bc I've never repaired a charging cable before I don't know enough to be sure my repairs won't set something on fire later. Anyone done this before and have any info/tutorials to recommend/etc? @seebs you've mentioned fixing cables before on your blog, any advice please? (My parents are overnighting me their spare, plus I'm at college so I can use campus machines in the meantime, so it's not like I'll be dead in the water, but it'd be cool if I could fix this and be back in business sooner.)
