Oh! I just finished jim butcher's codex alera series last night. Have you read that one or do you prefer Dresden (and if dresden, what did you think of the brief tv show?) I was talking books with my bro, and he made the comment that he likes Butcher because the characters don't really have flaws, they just punch above their weight class a lot.
this was also my feel about the tv show. I spent three seconds being outraged about how they changed bob, and then shrugged and kept watching. I feel like they stayed true to the style, I guess, of the books. I really love how sassy he gets. it's amazing.
I always liked the werewolves. And Molly is Michael's kid, right? the apprentice? Yeah I really like her. OH, all time favorite character in Dresden is the bodyguard dude of the girl who can see everything written. (I am really terrible at names. I also have a deep love of terrifyingly competent side characters.)
I have categorized him in my head as the sort of character who was probably human at some point and managed to transform himself through sheer willpower. For some reason he reminds me of RA Salvatore's Jarlaxle. (I would accept a side story [or a comic] all about Kincaid)
