Plus I already posted my first thread so it's now or never, haha. I'm hobo, permanent tumblrless lurker of Luka and seebs' blags, 28 year old cis woman, aro+ace who has little to no interest in the asexual community and would rather identify as not interested in a lot of things, and (the reason I signed up but still need to get the ovaries to post about) unemployed and trying to deal with the job hunt 2 years post graduation in light of generalised anxiety disorder which just seems like a horrible catch-22. I am a big nerd for pokemon, dragons and drawing, but don't do enough of the latter because I take about 500 years to finish sketching, let alone lineart and colouring + shading.

Absolutely! I still need to start ORAS though, it's been bought since it came out and it's just been sitting there. I was intending to play with a few online friends of mine but one of them disappeared, and I was also planning on putting together a full shiny/flawless IV level 1 team for it because I am absolutely that sort of nerd. 5/6 done so far (team below because they're too cute and I need to show them off), I thought I was done for real a week or so ago but then I realised my Cranidos didn't have crunch which is an egg move. I thought it was a TM >:( I was also really hoping to get a fairy type into the team but ugh... all the fairy types I love are either babies or stage 2/3 evos, and I swore I wouldn't evolve the team to try and make up for them being ridiculously overpowered, and babies would be horrible to try and fight things with, haha.

Your shiny babies look so cute @_@ Before 5th gen, I was a naive child who didn't know about IVs, in 5th gen I was RNG-ing for wild eccounters (and then lost all my RNGs when Pokecheck closed, I still cry about it) and currently I'm soft resetting my Omega Ruby for a shiny starter because I'm a stuborn asshole who refuses to give up and because I have no life. I'm also planning to buy yet another console, and I'd really love to get a limited edition 2DS with Alpha Sapphire installed, but I'm afraid I wont be able to afford it :< They could really discount them some, on the account of new DSes coming out, seriously.
Lol, I must be a pokesinner because while I know most people consider Mawile really cute... I actually really hate it... don't kill me /sob Togekiss for fairy president! Haha, I don't know about breeding wizard... I actually have zero experience with gen6 breeding (part of the reason my team doesn't have a thick fat Swinub or Noibat, though that's probably for the best considering how rock weak my team already is) and I don't get gen6 shiny values at all. I cry about pokecheck as well because it was the ONLY way I could find out my shiny value for the previous games since I don't own an AR. I lucked out though, RNG reporter had saved a copy of my profile with it's shiny value from White so I wasn't completely out of luck with breeding all of the cute shinies. Does getting a shiny starter in ORAS just require brute force resetting, or can you slightly RNG it? If it's the former, I am amazed by your patience, haha. If you ever need something breedable (or at least common in the wild) and actually obtainable in White, I can probably hook you up! I actually had no idea they did limited edition 2DSes! It's a shame they're still so expensive, but if it's the limited edition thing that makes it more expensive and you're looking for something cheap to customise a regular 2DS, I'd definitely recommend looking into putting together a custom decal at https://www.decalgirl.com/. I did this with my 3DS and am now the semi-proud owner of this thing (semi-proud because of this shameful admission: while I drew this stuff, 4/6 of the Woobats were traced because I am a big weenie. Wow, that decal is amazingly cute! AR is Action Replay, right? Sighs, my White and Black 2 games are basically untouched now, because I resetted my White save like a tool right before Dreamworld's closing caught me by surprise, and I was too bitter about Nintendo taking away such an important element of gameplay to play it. I didn't even start Black 2 when Dreamworld closed, either. Then I found out Pokecheck went down, and that was another hit... sigh. From what I heard, RNG isn't really possible in ORAS, so yeah, brute forcing it. This is actually the second time I'm doing it, too... I got a shiny Sceptile sitting in my Y save, and I'm trying for a Mudkip now. I know that it's possible now, so it's giving me motivation! There's something called QR code abuse which basically lets you download perfect pokemon if you don't have your DS updated to version 9.5 of software, but those Pokemon are usually lvl 100, so not really useful for early teams (and I do have my DS updated, so...) There's also some method of hatching perfect IV eggs, but one doesn't let you predict shinyness, and another requires Powersaves (unless you have a digital copy)... They fucked it up for us really bad. I would love if you could get some babies for me T__T I love Unova pokemon! ORAS earlygame is HORRIBLE for team options, so you've actually done a very wise thing getting a team together beforehand. I'll think hard of what I need and get back to you, okay?
