Okay, here's a thread concept that I don't know whether will work well or not, or provoke good responses, but I want to give it a try anyway. A few weeks ago, we had "I know you are, but what am I?" to share our first impressions based largely on internet presentation. What I'm interested in is sort of a similar thread based on less superficial data. Once you've sat down and spoken to somebody for a bit, what is your perspective on them? How do you interpret their personality, interests, and motivations, things that you pick up through speech that they never explicitly tell you? What insights might others have into your personality that you may have missed or not realised? Are these impressions accurate? This is something I'm always really interested in knowing with respect to myself, and perhaps others will be the same! I'm always curious as to how I come across, and I am just as much interested in more in-depth personality interpretations as am in, for instance, what people initially assume my gender to be :P So yeah, tell people about themselves! Assuming they ask you to, of course, and of course keeping everything nice and cordial, and only in the spirit I'd e genuine curiosity, similar to ikyabwai. (Feel free to start with me, or put yourselves forward if you want!)
