i figured i should mention it because, since i have my askbox closed on tumblr, it'd be a fair assumption to think i don't want messages here either. but i'm actually ok with it if i don't get too flooded. like, before you pm me, do ask yourself "would this work better in some thread here and i could just tag him? or should i make a thread about it so other folks can talk too?" but if the answer is no, a pm to me is the best way to do this particular convo, then yes, absolutely do message me! basically the reason i had to close my askbox on tumblr was because i got so very flooded. there's a culture there of making lots of tiny social noises into someone's askbox, just to touch base or whatever, and i'm no good with small talk. and of course there was the quite frequent "tag this thing for me or you're a meanie" business, which ALWAYS creates drama if you're not the type who tags much -- hell, i recently had someone talking trash about me for refusing to tag a thing a year ago, and luka's huge ongoing screechfetus infestation started with tagging drama. i figured if they couldn't reach me, they would have to find another solution, ideally unfollowing me. ANYHOW. tumblr is different. kintsugi is mellow. Uncle Bear Butt is down to talk. :)
