I recently moved in with my mom in Kansas City, MO, and I was wondering if anyone might know of a decent psychiatrist/psychologist in the area, or might have some advice for weeding out the bad ones quickly- (I'm new, and this might be the wrong place to post this, let me know if I need to move it)

If you have a GP/regular doctor, you can ask them for a referral. Also when you're looking up doctors, look at their specialties and see if they fall in the area you want treatment for. (depression, anxiety, gender stuff...whatever) Sadly I'm on the East Coast and cannot help with specifics, but I hope this can help with a start.
