Hi all. Okay I lied. I'm not new to the internet, but I haven't used the internet to connect to people much. Playing endless games of Snake at Neopets back in the day, lurking on people's Livejournal when that was still hip and happening, now mainly rolling down Tumblr without an account. So here is my attempt to connect, hopefully. Which for some weird reason seems so much scarier to me than talking to people in real life. Probably because the internet is still "the internet". But also everything here is so sensitive, so fragile. Everything is up for misinterpretation, miscommunication and will be used against you. Nevertheless, lately I've been overwhelmed by the desire to share. Finally making some friends that have some common interests instead of being possessive or downplay that interest for the sake of being "cool". I better post this before I overthink it and chicken out.
