    HI FRIENDS

okay so i've been considering starting a patreon. help me brainstorm.

i do the following physical arts:
    • cross stitch (and cross stitch patterns i guess)
    • jewelry (wire/beadwork)
    • handstitched journals
i do the following nonphysical arts:
    • i sing songs of an operatic bent
    • i sing songs of a non-operatic bent
    • i write fanfic (and original fic if you make me)

i'm thinking of making per-month support. i'd like to think that per-item support would motivate me to do shit, but i'm worried that it'd backfire.

here are some ideas for milestone goals.
    • recording session with collaborative pianist. this would cost at least $50. i'd love to record a song or two per month but i can't if i can't pay my pianist.
    • ...???????
    • i would love to pay my grocery bill with this. that'd be like $200 a month max.
    • what if i could buy music o_o
    • i dunno what to put here

    patron rewards.
    • cross stitch buttons? they are cute and easy but require investment (need a self cover button tool ... and also buttons to cover)
    • bookmarks if you reach a certain level of patronage/invest at a certain level? (i don't think i could make this recurring, it would have the possibility of being way too much work)
    • free downloads of songs
    • i will make you a cross stitch pattern
    • i can write you a short fic?
    • access to the patron-only feed i guess?
    • ...livestreaming cross stitch!!! 8D

I DON'T KNOW GUYS. i just know that i am an artist and i am poor. GIVE ME IDEAS

I don't know about the rest of it - but getting backing tracks works. One of my best friends online is an awesome blues/jazz singer and uses backing tracks for most of her tunes. I don't know the details since singing is not a thing I do (it involves making mouth noises). If that would work for you I can ask for info on how to find them.

As for small things that won't overwhelm, I've been considering cross stitching bits from a game I play, since the are EXTREMELY SMALL.
They are also like, rectangles, but they might work as a type of badge thing?
(Small as in 15-10 and 45-45 pixels)

Idk. I'd be willing to provide some prizes for things, since I can't actually give you money. :)
