Saw this tweet, linked to this article. I am not skilled in understanding legal things, but I think this says "legal action can only be taken by an individual & on our terms". This seems like it might be important given the nature and popularity of the game. Can someone who knows more about this kind of thing weigh in?
yeah, it's saying that if you agree to its Terms of Service or whatever unconditionally, you're also agreeing not to bring suit against it in court; instead, you have to arbitrate any disputes, which basically means taking your complaint to a third party, which will review the evidence and then make a legally binding decision. and you can't engage in class-action arbitration, either.
