So I got pneumonia for the first time ever.

this is probably because I used a chemical weapon on myself accidentally trying to clean like a year ago…fucking chlorine gas. Great for getting out smells! And lifespans if you’re not smart about it.

tl;dr upper right bronchial lobe partially collapsed, causing life to SUCK since last Tuesday. No PTO so I’m eating a Saturday to work and make up hours. Breathing out sounds like a coffee drip running out of water.

God punishes his silliest soldiers.

 

I also didn’t mention it apparently but we got chickens like three weeks ago and they already look like ugly little fuckers. Just the cutest, most sopping wet kitten type of dinosaur.

they hate when I pick them up, they keep thinking I’m murdering them when I do it. Like, I’m sorry you’re inconvenienced by me cleaning your butthole but you need to learn to not shit on yourselves before I stop doing it.

 

It's fiance's birthday today and we've mostly spent it being lazy and in bed.

He's been having a blast with his birthday games he got himself, and I made him a cake to celebrate. He's never had someone bake a cake for him before, usually it's been bought for him, so he got choked up about that. Good partner is me many bonus partner points.

I took 20mg of adderall to sit and watch 36th chamber with him, and now I'm stuck wanting to do things but not having the ability to do them.

He forgot to tell me we were out of garbage bags, so we didn't have them on the shopping list, and forgot to get them yesterday, so I can't effectively clean any more than what I already have. Dishes need to dry before I can do more, so I can't do that. I don't have money to buy the games I want because I'm poor and in debt, so I'm sitting here with envy until I'm no longer poor (lol).

I did, however, finally do laundry I've been meaning to do, so that's good. I have not stinky clothes for work.

 

This site genuinely looks better on my phone than on a computer and that distresses me in ways I can’t explain.

 

I feel overly anxious and I can’t figure out why. This has been going on for about a week, maybe two? I can’t backtrack to when it started and it’s just an on again, off again dread.

Unrelatedly but I have the base of the chicken coop done. We really should have done this earlier, but it’s been wet and gross out, and when it hasn’t someone was sick. The girls are getting antsy and I don’t blame them, but when we brought them outside for sun today they didn’t like it and tried to go back inside.

they’re ungrateful, of course, but very happy. Sometimes Pink Toes still lets me hold her.

 

I know I get paid way over what is typical for my type of job but man if I could do the same kind of entry level bullshit, get paid about if not as much as I am right now, and get to work from home that’d be great!

Unfortunately I am patient facing. Bull sheet.

Petco. It was the Rachel Ray’s Nutrish line. Something like $48.17 normally and I got it for $17.81 before tax.

not great kibble, but better than the cheap cheap stuff. A midline brand.

 

Oh, yeah I know of nutrish, our dogs might like it. They get bored easily, so we're shopping around ourselves to see what they'll eat next. Was it a red meat flavor by chance, like lamb or beef?

Was it on clearance in that specific Petco, or do you think it just costs that now? I don't mean to grill you, I just want to celebrate you getting a good deal while possibly sharing the good deal.

 

I think it was close to expiring, I didn’t look, there were a lot of bags of different flavors all for the same price or less. Kibble goes rancid because of the oils in it and if you have enough of a product not moving it makes sense to mark it down insanely low. I don’t know anyone taking about the nutrish brand kibble, but a lot of people say their dogs or cats go for the wet food like junkies, which probably means something bad but tasty for them is in it.

I don’t have a need to open it yet, I still have a day or two left of the old stuff, but I’m betting the expiration date will be this month or next
