I just had my first win/chicken dinner in PlqyerUnknown's Battlegrounds and I love this game so here's a thread! What are your best moments you've had in this game? Tips? Tricks? Favorite places to land? Dropped into some ruins and stumbled upon a Micro Uzi and silencer. First circle happened and I was well within it. While waiting for the next circle somebody tried to cut through the ruins and I got them from behind. They had a fuckin sniper. My first time ever holding a sniper in this game. A short while later somebody else came through the ruins and I killed them too. They were kind enough to drop a fuckin 2x scope for the sniper. I set out from those ruins fuckin loaded with medical supplies, boosts, a nice collection of grenades, and a goddamn genuine sniper rifle I stealthed my way through fields and bushes, circle after circle, uncommonly aware of the hilly terrain around me, which hid me from any road and left me only having to watch one side. Happened upon a player in the open and actually got them in one shot! More stealthing. Calculated risks. Potshots at passing cars as they sped towards the circles. In the end the circle was about the size of a small parking lot. I lay in the lee of a small ridge as furious shooting erupted from the center. Three remaining. I dipped into my lil sack of ‘nades and threw a smoke grenade over the ridge, hoping to shake things up. I see the other player as he comes up to take his shot. Two remaining. I tossed my one frag grenade at him and it went wide. It must have startled them out of cover as seconds later they die outside the play zone. First chicken dinner. What a round! Having a sniper felt great, but I'd really love a chance to get good with the crossbow. In the match before that one I chased a shotgun-haver with my fists into a building and duked it out. I brought fists to a gunfight and I won. It was great.
The only interaction ive had so far is with polygons awful squad series, but id definitely play it myself if i could! It looks so fun. Have you messed with zombie mode at all?
