I have not read the book yet, but I very much want to, partly because it sounds interesting, partly because Jesse could author the back of a cereal box and make it come out gold. I've looked a bit, but I can't find any specific warnings about the contents. For example, are there any graphic depictions of torture or rape? If there are, would it be possible to skim or skip them and still follow the story?
n..nnoo? sorry, don't have the book on me right immediately now, but answering anyway if you're ok with spoileresque things, descriptions of wounds can get graphic I suppose, and there's a scene I would akin to mindrape. other than that, I'm pretty sure anything of that sort is stuff in the past, and not in real-time story
Okay, so mostly just possible mentions of the things, and the sort of injuries you would expect from stories with action and physical conflict, then? That is doable for me and I am much relieved. Thank you!
