my new razer kraken headphones are at a comfortable volume at volume 2 what am i supposed to do if something is loud enough that i need to turn down the volume to maintain comfort? cannot use volume control as it moves a minimum of 2 points
i don't know what type of thing is the anomalous slightly-too-loud thing, but a lot of things have little individual volume controls? like games, videos, programs, music, they'll usually have their own little volume thing independent of the master volume control. iiii don't know if that helps but i thought i would chime in anyway (⋈óᴗò)
I believe this is the exact device I bought to deal with almost the same issue. In my case it was my MP3 player that didn't get quiet enough - even with the volume set at 1 it was often too loud.
A Toshiba Satellite laptop. (It's a set of USB headphones so that volume control thing wouldn't work.)
there is no noticable difference between volume 1 and volume 2...it starts at where volume 10 was on the previous headphones and some things needed to be on volume 8 :( and the tumblr video player has no volume control just a mute/unmute button
Hmmm, have you tried using the windows volume control(s). Right-click on the speaker icon on your taskbar and choose 'Open Volume Mixer' then adjust you browser volume, or the main windows system volume.
That is the only volume control I have available. It is also accessable via the volume control buttons on my keyboard.
At the risk of asking the obvious, have you tried installing their config program? From the screenshots I can see it does do something with headphones, and not just things like keyboards/mice/etc
The config program came installed with the headphones, and for whatever reason the volume control in that is just the system volume control. However, all the equalization sliders start right in the middle! It's a really weird solution and I wish they had a 'quiet' preset that had all the sliders down equally, because I think I left one of them slightly higher than the others?
