Oh I hate him. I hate him. but he's one of the better developed villains. or developed without needing a tragic as all hell backstory.
I'm so excited by the foreshadowing of how he's going to get fucked up by underestimating people. So excited. And you follow me so you've already seen my Locus commentary, heh
Basically the huge thing after the last episode is half the fandom going LOCUS REDEMPTION!!!!!! and like, no. he assisted in a genocide that's not forgivable. so what I want is specifically the reverse and parallel of Wash's arc - Locus finds personal redemption but as far as literally everyone else is concerned, Still A Dick
I'm a Roosterteeth/Achievement Hunter fan, so I've given RvB a couple shots, but dang, that first season, man. So very much not my cup of tea. From what I've heard/seen of later seasons, it looks like it gets a hell of a lot better, though. Dunno where I'm going with this, really. I like the animation in the latest season? That was p cool, in the preview and whatnot. Also, yeah, dunno about Locus, but I'm all for people trying to learn how to be actually decent without getting any recognition and/or forgiveness for their actions. Dunno if that's what you mean by 'personal redemption', but put my utterly worthless outsiders vote in column that one, pls.
The friend who got me into RvB is a big achievement hunter fan, but i've never tried getting into it. i feel like that would be something i would watch with him, only so he could explain Who The Fuck These People Were.
red vs. blue! i've recently finished watching it! and it's pretty awesome, though also hella confusing - not as confusing as modern and post-modern art history, thank god, but confusing... also, i have hella church feels. and church/tex feels (never expected to like a het ship this much or 'cause of the abusive undertones of it). and just... church is, like, me, i feel. (in a non-literal way, if you were wondering.) like, you know how epsilon is memory and how intensely church cares for tex... also madeofnxmbers/thewhoopingblob (madeofnxmbers is their epsilon church rp blog, btw) headcanons church as autistic, which is awesome. (he was also the one who got me into the fandom, btw.) and they have a felix rp blog at signofsxlidarity - which they have hella cool headcanons for. his felix is beautiful and he (felix or both muse and mum) sure knows it. :D:D
Caboose is my favorite, but Church is my second favorite and I think I agree with @unknownanonymous about him

Both, I guess. I'm also really not caught up, but spoilers are okay so long long as they're given context and don't come from Wes, because Wes is one of those people who if allowed to spoil small things will spoil big things by accident.

I watched up through season 9 at one point, but I forgot a lot of the plot so now I'm trying to catch back up and I'm technically on season 4 right now but I remember chunks of stuff from 5 through 9. just not in order.
I don't spoil that much... Okay maybe I do *sorry Bel* But yeah, Church is one of my favorites, though I also personally love Donut. And also Doc. (and I kind of like Locus, and Dr. Gray, is that her name?) Bel, John has already mentioned Dr. Gray to us so not technically spoiling.
@unknownanonymous Ah okay. She's really cool. I like creepy morally ambiguous doctors. I also like creepy morally ambiguous priests but that's unrelated.
@wes scripserat my faves are church, washington, carolina, tex, and felix. and theta is cute. :D i really liked the project freelancer/ai plot line, you can probably tell, haha.
@unknownanonymous Theta is adorable. I want more theta. I really want more theta, but obviously that's not happening. I have mostly been avoiding rvb fanfic, do you have any recs (mostly cause that corner of AO3 is dominated by Achievement Hunter porn and it's getting more and more awkward whenever my friend John brings these people up and what I immediately think of is badly written smut)
